Description
The role of a Plant Quality Manager is to manage customer and supplier quality concerns at the Plant, implement and maintain a IATF16949 compliant quality system and for implement and manage FES/RIO and QSE corporate quality requirements at the Plant.
The main missions of the role are:
Represent FIS at the customer for quality-related issuesSet up and maintain quality systems at the plantResponsible for Quality Lab and testing activity (Control Plan testing, gages, fixtures, etc.)Coordinate IATF16949 implementation activitiesCoordinate the implementation of QSE per corporate requirementsResponsible for stopping the line in case of quality concernsMaintain good housekeeping standardsFollow all safety procedures and safety and regulatory complianceFES Employee Empowerment participation and QSE responsibilityAll other duties as assigned by the companyAdminister Company protocols and processes according to the principles set out in Faurecia's Code of Management and Code of Ethics.
Administer Company protocols and processes according to the principles set out in Faurecia's Code of Management and Code of Ethics Specific responsibilities:Ensure quality-related problems are resolved with production, supplier and customerEnsure all inspection records are maintained and procedures followedEnsure all necessary reports, documentation and samples are submitted to customer in a timely mannerTrain/coach quality engineers and technicians and co-ordinate daily activities at the PlantEvaluate proposed designed Control cost with delivery, component supply, and obsolescence managementProvide effective leadership to the Quality Department in achieving department and company goalsMaintain customer satisfaction through direct communicationsCreate and maintain systems that meet customer and Faurecia requirementsEnsure delivery of quality products to the customer to meet plant objectives Support the Plant Quality Leader in :Approving the Design validation plan with engineeringManaging the program quality planManaging the targets in Quality, S&R and HSEChecking the PMS applicationAlerting the adequate level the organization in case of NOK points - through quality network including you if very critical
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have/be:
Minimum five years of quality engineering and/or managerial experience in an automotive environmentUniversity graduate in Management or Engineering, or related discipline (Bachelor's degree preferred)Effective communicator in both oral and written formSkilled problem solver/ Mathematically adeptStrong background in Statistics preferredGood computer skills (Excel, Word, MS Project, etc.)
