Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchaser to join our team.
The Purchaser will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and negotiating deals, goods, and services to meet the company's operational needs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that are innovative, costeffective, and incorporate best practices.
- Source and purchase goods, according to company policies and procedures.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
- Manage supplier relationships and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs.
- Oversee logistics to ensure timely delivery of purchased items.
Skills:
- Proficiency in procurement management and supplier management.
- Strong negotiation skills for effective contract negotiation.
- Knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems for inventory control.
- Familiarity with logistics processes to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Ability to analyze market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers.
