Description
Begin your day by ensuring X-ray machines and related equipment are calibrated and functioning properly.Check the daily schedule to understand patient appointments and prioritize tasks accordingly.
Greet and prepare patients for X-ray procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
Perform X-ray examinations following established protocols, positioning patients accurately for optimal imaging results.
Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols, including the use of protective equipment for patients and yourself.
Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate imaging needs and ensure accurate diagnostic information.
Process and evaluate X-ray images to ensure quality and clarity, making adjustments as needed.
Record relevant patient information, procedure details, and maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health records system.
Conduct routine maintenance on X-ray equipment and report any malfunctions for timely repairs.
Stay updated on advancements in X-ray technology and attend relevant training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals, including radiologists, nurses, and support staff, to provide comprehensive patient care.
Provide post-procedure instructions to patients and address any questions they may have about the imaging process.
