- Provide prompt and courteous technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
- Assist users with software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Configure equipment for employee use
- Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or in person
- Troubleshoot and resolve a variety of Tier 1 technical problems related to desktops, laptops, peripherals, software, and network connectivity.
- Escalate complex issues to Tier 2 support specialists.
- Refer major hardware or software problems to vendors or technicians for service
- Effectively communicate with users to understand and diagnose technical issues.
- Follow up with users after an issue has been resolved for confirmation
- Monitor ticket system and assign tickets to appropriate support
- Stay up-to-date on the latest technology trends and troubleshooting techniques.
- Monitor and maintain related inventory
- Train employees on how to use current and new technologies
- Degree or Certification in a related field
- 1 year of Technical Support
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Strong familiarity with Windows environments (10/11, Server, etc).
- Strong understanding of computer hardware and software fundamentals
- Strong understanding of network fundamentals
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
