As part of a nationally funded project, you will develop a sensing solution for the factory of the future that can learn independently and continuously improve the safety and effectiveness of the overall system.

Humans are able to quickly and accurately perceive their environment through their senses.

To solve complex monitoring and control tasks in the industrial environment with the required precision and security, a large amount of sensor data must be collected, fused, and evaluated.

The use of new, miniaturized, and cost-effective sensors for physical and chemical properties, combined with the increasing computing power available to interpret this vast amount of data, is leading to a paradigm shift in factory monitoring.


In this role, you will work with a multidisciplinary project team to integrate various novel sensors into intelligent sensor nodes to collect data from a real industrial environment.
