As Sales Support in which we assist and affect every aspect of any given sale.
We are like the head of an octopus with our tentacles reaching out to customers, salesmen, shipping, parts, service, welding, accounting, vendors, etc.
With that being said, below is an ever-evolving list of the many roles of the CSR:CSR ROLES
Customer Service
- Quoting and responding within a timely manner in accordance with the current policy
- Responding to general knowledge questions
- Sending brochures, specs, install instructions, pictures, gifts, etc. to customers
- Reserving buckets for customers that need serial numbers prior to submitting a PO or for prepay customers
- Create BoL's
- Invoicing
- Assist with collections for past dues
- Create RGA's
- Create sales orders and double check for accuracy
- Provide customer with specs, dims of attachments when requested
- Provide customer with ETA's when requested
- Enter sales orders
- Inside sales
- This is fielding any calls that come to the office that include customer servicerelated issues, quoting, entering orders, etc.
- Provide customer with specs, dims of attachments when requested
- Send the orders out with as much detail as possible leaving no room for interpretation.
- Get orders out ASAP giving shipping the most amount of time to complete the order.
- Get BoL's out to shipping as quickly as possible so they are not rushing at the end
- Logistically coordinate any shipments requiring a thirdparty carrier (Bid Out)
- Any revisions to orders after the packet has gone out needs to have a revision sheet attached to the packet. You must go out and attach it.
- Communicate in an effective and timely manner to coordinate orders and shipments
- Follow up on aging weekly
- Check drop ships folder weekly
- Check open sales orders daily
- Check containers in transit daily and update memo notes
- Check welding schedule daily to make sure Bill has not missed anything and also to notify him if any buckets in transit have arrived
- Review pick up board weekly in order to get items picked up in a timely manner
- Scan, attach and submit freight bills with BoL's daily
- Review and follow up on open RGA's weekly
- Conduct yourself in a courteous, respectful, and professional manner toward customers and coworkers alike
Salary:
TBD and based on experience
