About us:

The Potsdam Kids daycare center is a facility of the EJF (Evangelisches Jugend- und Fürsorgewerk) and is located in the quiet area of Teltower Vorstadt, near the protected colony Daheim.

The proximity to the Ravensberge forest area offers the opportunity for exploration trips in the woods and fields.

The 3-year training program at our daycare center begins on [date]. You have the opportunity to complete the academic part of the training at our EJF School for Social Professions.


About the training:
* 3-year vocational training with a degree as a state-recognized educator You will learn: * to accompany, promote and support children pedagogically and in everyday life * to observe the behavior and well-being of children and to analyze and evaluate the results according to pedagogical principles * to develop and implement needs-based offers * to accompany and take on independent responsibility for working with parents

What you bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent or a middle school diploma and a completed training as a social assistant / technical diploma or a completed vocational training and a job that is beneficial for the field a personal hobby (sports, music, art, crafts, etc.)
