Job summary

The Memory Care Director is responsible for the overall implementation, delivery and coordination of resident care services for the community%s Memory Care neighborhood.

Qualifications

  • A degree in gerontology nursing social work or related field preferred CDP certification preferred or equivalent to experience and formal dementia training Must meet qualifications to support resident ADL care and medication administration per state requirements where applicable At least 3-5 years of experience in an assisted living and memory care setting required At least 2 years of dementia experience in a supervisory role required Knowledge of various computer systems particularly Excel Word comfortable learning new programs High degree accuracy all assignments ability manage time effectively take initiative employing professional ethics good judgment Excellent communication skills strong teamwork ability motivate Ability work evenings weekends participate on-call rotation Meet mandatory health requirements according to state regulations Compassion patience special interest working senior population living with dementia
