JOB DESCRIPTION

Peoplelink Staffing has teamed up with an outstanding employer in Central Indiana. Our client operates in the eCommerce sector, offering efficient, secure, and eco-friendly fulfillment and delivery services. We are currently seeking Forklift Operators for both 1st and 2nd shifts at our Whitestown, IN fulfillment center.

Forklift Operator Job Summary:

- 1st shift: 7am-3:30pm
- 2nd shift: 3pm-midnight
- Starting wage: $18.00 per hour
- Temporary position with the opportunity for permanent hire at $20/hr thereafter

Forklift Operator Responsibilities:

- Perform all tasks safely and in compliance with safety regulations
- Properly palletize and arrange packages following safe handling guidelines
- Maintain well-stocked workstations
- Record inventory data accurately using RF Scanning technology
- Adhere to forklift safety protocols
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Safely operate material handling equipment

Forklift Operator Requirements:

- Prior warehouse experience is necessary
- Previous forklift operation experience, including sit-down and stand-up forklifts
- Capable of standing, bending, and walking throughout the workday
- Willingness to work in a cool environment (at or below 40 degrees)
- Proficient in using RF scanners
- Basic math skills and understanding of inventory principles
- Effective English communication skills
