Description

DUTIES
Under supervision and following established policies and branch procedures to provide customer service support including the following functional duties:

  • Process various new accounts (DDA, SAV, COD and Safe Deposit Box) by ensuring proper documentation and identification according to the bank's operations policy and BSA policy; perform OFAC check and ChexSystem
  • maintain existing accounts of all types and close account as needed.
  • Ensure customer information are input to Deposit Pro to produce Signature card and disclosures for customers.
  • Ensure CIP/CDD forms are completed and input to Navigator and Patriot Officer System.
  • Mail out Time Deposit Approaching Renewal Notice two weeks ahead to customers.
  • Mail out Renewed Time Deposit after renewal to customers.
  • Review "Opened and Closed" of DDA, SAV, COD Account", Reports daily from Director.
  • Review "Matured Time Deposit and Automatically Renewed" Reports daily from Director.
  • Ensure all new account documents are submitted to Supervisor for call back the next day.
  • Accept "Change of Address" request, input to Navigator and update Signature Card.
  • Provide "Notice of Hold" on Newly opened accounts to customers and input to Navigator.
  • File new account signature and documents after completion.
  • Provide quality customer services including servicing existing customers, answering inquires, recommending solutions to customer problems, ordering checks.
  • Develop new depository relationship, including business and personal accounts.
  • Maintain files on status of accounts and prepare appropriate branch reports.
  • Promote and crosssell the Bank's services and products.
  • Train Customer Services Representative in opening new accounts and performing all new account desk function.
  • Answer inquires and direct customers to the proper department for further bank services.
Accept other duties as deemed appropriate by supervisor.


QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent with some college business classes helpful.


Experience:2-3 years new account and/or operations experience in a banking environment. Thorough knowledge of Bank products and services.


Skills/ Ability:
PC literate, typing, and ten key proficient. Proficient in math, detail oriented, strong communication skills, and ability to function in a team environment. Bilingual (English/Mandarin or Cantonese) preferred.


Pay:
From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
