- Assists Warehouse Manager with hiring and training of new employees.
- Schedules and oversees warehouse staff.
- Receives and records new inventory as it is delivered; inspects and stores it according to policy.
- Conducts physical inventory, compares results to computerized inventory, and reconciles any differences.
- Replenishes stock and inventory as needed.
- Ensures that all stock is stored in correct locations in the warehouse.
- Transfers inventory to trucks for delivery in a timely manner and according to schedule.
- Schedules materials being transferred to and from warehouse; coordinates transfer of inventory between job sites.
- Collaborates with management to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices.
- Resolves routine equipment issues.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Must have a clean driving record (CDL a plus)
- Previous warehouse experience or similar
- Excellent knowledge of electrical material
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Ability to anticipate and solve problems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient with data entry and inventory software and systems.
- Associate degree in Business or similar discipline required.
- At least two years of experience in the electrical field.
- Prolonged periods sitting standing.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds at times.
