    Location: Exeter, CA

    While reporting to the production shift supervisor, you will be responsible for packing thermoformed trays in a quick and safe manner. **Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success**. You must have a proven record of success in a fast-paced environment. You must have the ability to work with various teams and have a good eye to spot defects in the packing line. You will take pride in your personal hands-on and analytical abilities, organizational skills and attention to detail.

    **What youll be doing:**

    Collaborating closely with other departments and teams

    Being able to work at a fast pace

    Packing a wide variety of products and materials

    Removing product from the line and visually inspecting to assure quality standards

    Maintaining a safe, clean and organized work area.

    Performing all duties as designated by supervisor/manager.

    Performing all duties in support of Sonocos quality and safety policies.

    Helping out in other departments as needed, including but not limited to the palletizing, labeling and warehouse areas of the factory.

    **Wed love to hear from you if you:**

    Have previous experience in a similar role in a manufacturing/warehouse environment (Field Workers are encouraged to apply)

    Have sufficient Mechanical Skills is necessary to troubleshoot/fix machine issues

    Have a get it done attitude and an urgency to resolve problems/tasks.

    Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Have a working knowledge of our products and their quality requirements.

    Have extensive knowledge of personal hand tools and be able to safely use them to set-up, adjust and maintain production equipment.

    Are reliable, having good initiative, being committed, and being quality-focused is a must.

    Can lift up to 25 lbs. as needed.

    Have the ability to effectively work with a team in a fast-paced environment is crucial to success.

    Have the ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions.

    Are able to perform repetitious duties, including standing for long periods of time.

    Have the ability to work quickly while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail
