C.H.Robinson, a leader in global logistics, is looking to hire a
Logistics Representative to work onsite with our customer, Ocean Spray.
As a Logistics Representative, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of information and making all necessary transportation arrangements.
You will independently manage, foster, and maintain relationships with your assigned customer(s), serving as an essential extension of their staff.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor customer load board and information flow in the Transportation Management System (TMS)
- Perform relationship and knowledgebased exception management to any predefined processes
- Document and organize existing standard operating processes
- Conduct C.H. Robinson systems trainings to external C.H. Robinson customer representatives
- Manage reconciliation of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
- Serve as a logistics expert and provide suggestions to customers to ensure maximum effectiveness
- Act as a resource and support for peers when needed
- Utilize projectbased delivery model to find process improvements and cost savings within area of responsibility and/or team
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Supply Chain, Transportation, and/or Logistics
- Ability to work flexible schedule on occasion
- Ability to travel up to 5% (domestic and/or international)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university
- Information systems acumen
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
- Ability to present to a variety of audiences
- Ability to think critically, analyze data and solve problems quickly and accurately
- Ability to work in a team oriented and fastpaced environment
- Ability to prioritize and handle a variety of tasks
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
