We're offering an exciting opportunity to join our distribution team as a Driver for the Southern California region. We are looking for energetic team players that have excellent organizational skills and love engaging with others. Our drivers represent the face of our company to our customers.

We are looking for people that can provide excellent customer service while delivering and servicing stores across the region and the state of California.


Job Duties:


  • Handles and processes customer payments efficiently.
  • Completes invoices and documents all transactions accurately and promptly.
  • Follows predetermined driving routes to deliver products and ensure timely and correct deliveries.
  • Develops and maintains a working knowledge and understanding of our product line.
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure safety, compliance, and operational standards are met.
  • Report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
  • Use route optimization software to plan the most efficient routes and adjust based on traffic conditions, delivery priorities, and other variables.
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns or issues during deliveries in a professional manner.
  • Load and unload safely and efficiently to minimize damage and ensure accurate deliveries.
  • Verify accuracy of delivery orders and maintain proper documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with warehouse fulfillment team, customer service team, and accounting team to ensure seamless operations and efficient workflow.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement discussions.
  • Be prepared to handle emergency situations, such as vehicle breakdowns or accidents, in accordance with company protocols.
  • Other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:


  • 21 + years of age with a valid California Drivers' License and clean driving record.
  • Previous delivery experience preferred, but not required.
  • DOT regs/route experience a plus.
  • Ability to use navigation systems, solid computer skills, including Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite, Slack, and Onfleet Delivery Management system.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Punctual, with excellent time management skills.
  • Able to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to establish strong working relationships and deliver exceptional customer service is a must.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position located in Southern California.

The SoCal Kind House Driver is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate deliveries, supporting warehouse operations when necessary, managing inventory, and handling data management tasks.

This role requires a reliable and punctual individual with strong communication skills and the ability to establish excellent working relationships.
