    Role Description

    This is a full-time hybrid role as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at RJB Contracting Inc. in Spring City, PA. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The role includes some flexibility for remote work.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee all financial operations of the company, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
    • Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.
    • Provide insightful financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making by senior management.
    • Manage risk assessment and mitigation strategies for financial exposures.
    • Manage relationships with lenders, bonding companies, and other financial institutions.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
    • Lead and mentor the accounting team, ensuring efficient and accurate financial processes.
    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in construction accounting.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA a plus).
    • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in a financial leadership role within the construction industry.
    • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
    • Strong understanding of construction accounting principles and practices, including job costing and contract management.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Leadership skills and the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
    • Proficient in financial modeling and forecasting software (e.g., Excel).
    • Experience with construction project management software a plus.
