Description
Alps Alpine, a leading manufacturer of electronic components and automotive infotainment systems, has brought the world numerous "First 1" and "Number 1" products since its founding in 1948.
The Alps Alpine Group currently operates 110 bases in 26 countries and regions, supplying roughly 40,000 different products and solutions to around 2,000 companies worldwide.
Those offerings include devices such as switches, sensors, data communication modules, touch input panels, actuators, and power inductors; electronic shifters, remote keyless entry systems, and other automotive units; consumer electronics like car navigation and audio-visual systems; and systems and services such as digital keys based on smartphone app and blockchain technology, and remote monitoring.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Confirm incoming cargo data with U.S. Customs and build entry files for upload into EDI. Prepare inbounds for all cargo destined for Mexico, FTZ, or cargo designated by the customer to move inbound.
Manage ISF Filing
Support internal and external requests for trade data certifications including USMCA, Manufacturer's affidavits, KORUS, and AALA, including assigning country of origin and assigning HTS.
Support requests to designate cargo disposition and information inquiries from brokers, U.S. Customs, or internally.Approve, code, and audit billing from third-party brokers and specific logistics providers.
Support preparation of monthly duty and tax reports evaluating the fiscal impact of Alps Alpine imports.
Support quarterly Broker Audits
Support the creation of shipping instruction
Manage Export document uploading
Responsible for providing potential business partners with the required documents.
Other duties may be assigned
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate/Bachelor's degree in Trade compliance or related field with up to two- years of job-related experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
SAP knowledge preferred.
Business-level communication in Spanish is a plus.
Availability to visit Reynosa manufacturing site when required.
The incumbent of this position must be a team player, a self-motivated individual, and demonstrate a positive "can do" attitude.
Must be able to prioritize, multi-task, and possess excellent organizational, communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.Capable of completing administrative tasks accurately and on time.
The ability to interpret, collect, and research data and use analytical abilities, intuition, and experience to make suggestions to process and plan needs.
The ability to follow corporate policies and procedures and support the organization's goals and values is key.Adaptable to changes within the work environment.
