The St. Joseph's Home is a facility for children, youth, and elderly care in Fredonia, IA.

Our multi-generational house accommodates people of different ages and cultures. We see ourselves as companions and ambassadors of diversity.

In our children's house, we care for approximately 173 children, 15 of whom have special needs.


And for this, we are looking for:
Educators / Childcare workers (m, f, d) full-time or part-time.

You have a friendly smile, eyes that can see important and beautiful things, legs that stand firmly, and feet that like to move.

You always have a kind word and an arm to comfort in the right moment.

You appreciate and love the diversity of people just as much as we do


What you need:


  • A staterecognized education as an educator or a degree in social pedagogy.
  • A loving and respectful approach to all children.
  • Interest in inclusive work.
  • Reliability, flexibility, initiative, and teamwork.
  • Enthusiasm to act constructively and reflectively as a team member.
Qualifications
