Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, disassembling, repairing, and reassembling parts as necessary
Testing mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications
Working with computer instrumentation to perform diagnostics and execute work worders
Welding and fabrication of necessary parts to maintain working order
Other duties as assigned

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for all personnel related functions for maintenance employees, including, but not limited to, hiring, firing, and performance appraisals.
Performs more than one of these following functions, Welding, Pipe fitting, Mechanic, Electrical, and Preventative maintenance planning.
Supervision of all maintenance employees and shifts.
Perform maintenance activities including, but not limited to, Pump rebuilds, Preventative Maintenance, Basic installations of pipe, and electric work.
Perform basic repairs and upkeep in the Welding, Electrical, Pipe fitting, and Mechanical disciplines.
Acts as an assistant to higherlevel maintenance personnel on larger, more complex maintenance activities.
Operates a forklift if required and trained.
Ensures that work meets all applicable Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures.

What Does it Take to Work for Clean Harbors?

Plant maintenance experience in one of the following areas: preventative maintenance, installations, welding, electrical, pipefitting, rollingstock/heavy equipment mechanics
Demonstrated knowledge in welding or hydraulics
Ability to work on weekends and overtime
Ability to pass a mechanical aptitude test
Ability to meet physical demands of the position, including movements such as lifting, bending, reaching, climbing, and the manipulating and handling of objects

$120, $140,000.00 per year
