Description
Assumes responsibility for the operational functions of banking departments, including commercial and real estate note, and installment loan departments. Assumes responsibility for maintaining the operating condition of the department at a satisfactory level. Performs other related duties as may be assigned and/or required.


  • Assumes responsibility for performing duties in banking departments including commercial and real estate note and installment loan department

Minimum qualifications:

Must possess an understanding of the bank's operations policies and procedures, and have the potential for development and promotion to higher-grade operations jobs.


  • Performs various duties to ensure that collateral documentation is accurate and the bank is fully secured.
  • Checks proper documents needed to secure many different types of loans for accuracy once prepared.
  • Checks collateral documents.
  • Registers, evaluates, monitors, and safekeeps collateral.
  • Prepares, maintains and reviews collateral files.
  • Keeps loan officers aware of any exceptions.
  • Ensures proper insurance coverage.
  • Handles correspondence and telephone inquiries pertaining to collateral information.
  • Inputs collateral and loan documentation exceptions to CRT and investigates reason for rejection by system.
  • Prepares, maintains and distributes various reports.
  • Types various forms, letters, memos and other material.
  • Inputs and monitors HMDA-LAR information.
  • Receives payments for mortgages, installment and other loans ensuring that payments equal the amount due and all late charges, if applicable are collected. Enter payments received into the bank's record.
  • Process and establish collection notes, letters, payments and drafts.
  • Processes paid out loans and ensure proper documents are released and/or given to the customer.
  • Document scanning.
  • Working knowledge of and the ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned. Completes job duties in accordance with bank policies and procedures, banking laws and regulations, and the Bank Secrecy Act.

Pay:
$ $16.00 per hour
