The Installation Child and Youth Director directs supervises staff comprises of CYP Management Training staff School Liaison Officers plans assigns monitors observes assesses ongoing work based on priorities difficulty complexity requirements assignments capabilities ensures effective efficient use employees CYP including development use singular staffing schedule when applicable ensures hiring process timely recruitment selection of staff required fill vacancies recruits hires qualified personnel using CYP Standardized Agency Position Descriptions provides subordinate supervisors staff with direction determinations policies procedures guidelines establishes local performance standards requirements employees contractors volunteers visits programs during hours operations regular basis observes monitors staff performance conducts annual performance reviews of staff.
- Provides oversight accountability performance employees safety children accordance Department Defense DoD Department Navy DoN local policies standards.
