We are seeking a reliable and experienced full-time Auto Body Technician to join our team.Skills and experience in the following areas are required:
- Door Skins
- Quarter Panel Replacements
- Assembly and Disassembly
- Realigning Car Frames and chassis to repair structural damage
- Hammer out or patch dents, dimples and other minor body damage
- Welding
- Grind, sand, buff and prime refurbished and repaired surfaces
- Problem Solving Skills
- Work directly with Service Advisor and/or Manager, performing a meticulous disassembly to prepare a repair plan for each vehicle in a timely fashion.
- Ensure all needed repairs are properly identified to eliminate supplements and minimize cycle time.
- Utilize expertise and professional judgement to ensure that repairs are completed swiftly, to the highest standard of quality, and in a safe manner.
- Participates in all required staff meetings daily and ongoing training as assigned.
- Operate a variety of highline specialty tools (e.g. mig and pulse welders, selfpiercing riveting guns, aluminum and steel dent fix stations etc.)
- Comply with all safety rules, OEM guidelines and procedures.
