- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of accurate and timely financial records, including journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Participate in month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Reconcile bank statements and other balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist with month end close processes by reviewing and reconciling subledger revenue, deferred revenue and customer receivable reports, posting recurring journal entries and analyzing P/L variances.
- Collaborate with Business Unit leaders and other support service departments to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and proper expense allocation.
- Assist with the preparation of audit schedules and support auditors during annual audits.
- Help identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting operations.
- Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and standards, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed to support operational leaders.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Accounting, or related field required.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or accounting roles.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and demonstrated comfort level with accounting software such as Quickbooks, great plains and/or other similar application(s).
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Staff Accountant to join our accounting team.
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks, including but not limited to, enterprise-wide balance sheet reconciliations, P/L review, full GL close responsibilities for multiple business units, general ledger entries, and assisting with other various accounting responsibilities as needed.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
