    Description

    Qualify for a $1000 Sign-On Bonus

    Hours: 3:00 P.M. - 11:30 P.M, with OT and occasional Saturdays

    The Line Lead will oversee employee activities and product handling on an assigned production line to enhance line efficiencies while upholding quality and food safety standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Coordinate employee activities and product handling on the production line, working alongside line employees
    • Receive instructions from the Production Supervisor/Assistant regarding product orders
    • Organize the line crew effectively for order processing
    • Manage product and packaging materials to optimize line efficiency
    • Prioritize order processing based on shipping requirements and production schedules
    • Record all production activities for assigned lines
    • Complete necessary Quality Assurance forms
    • Train and assign tasks to daily employees
    • Maintain open communication with the Supervisor/Assistant on production or staff matters
    • Ensure safety protocols are followed by all line employees and equipment is operated correctly
    • Cross-train line employees on different assigned lines as needed
    • Keep work area clean and organized

    Qualifications/Requirements

    • Preferred bilingual English/Spanish
    • High School diploma or GED preferred
    • General warehouse operation knowledge required; experience in the food industry is a plus
    • Flexible with hours, overtime may be required
    • Ability to lift up to 55lbs (anything heavier requires team lift)
    • Adherence to all WF GMPs and food safety standards

    Skills/Abilities

    • Basic computer skills necessary
    • Proficient in English reading and writing
    • Familiarity with scale operations, weights, and measurements
    • Exhibit strong leadership qualities
    • Ability to learn quickly and prioritize tasks
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills
    • Adaptability to different production lines
    • Capable of multitasking with attention to detail
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Mathematical proficiency for calculations in various units of measure
    • Interpretation of safety and procedural documents

    Physical Requirements

    The job may involve sitting, standing, walking, bending, and moving around the facility. Climbing ladders and maneuvering in small spaces might also be required.

    Personal Protective Equipment

    Position may involve exposure to manufacturing and warehouse areas, sometimes requiring personal protective equipment and adherence to chemical safety protocols.

    Work Environment

    This role includes working in a manufacturing setting with exposure to dust, odors, noise, and cleaning chemicals. Remote work is not an option.
