Job Overview
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understands project and required assembly steps
- Sets up operation
- Establishes crewing
- Trains line personnel
- Follows instructions on job ticket
- Monitors quality, safety, and productivity
- Fully Bilingual (English and Spanish)
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Clearly communicates, demonstrates and sets expectations for the performance of their assigned production line
- Ability to make ready Hand Work equipment
- Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task
- Ability to formulate a sound decision using the available information
- Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines
- Ability to insure quality expectations are met
- Ability to perform multiple tasks
- Must be able to work well with others as well as independently
- Must understand and follow department SOP's
Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and reach
- Regularly required to use force to push, pull and lift up to 35 lbs
- Regularly required to manipulate product to desired specifications
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Work Environment:
- Work performed in a shop environment
- Occasionally exposed to hot and cold temperature
- Regularly exposed to dust, odors, and noise
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of high school education or 5 years of related experience in a similar environment
- Required to read and write, follow verbal instructions and use simple math
Pay:
From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week
