Summary:

Operates Cogeneration plant and related equipment. Accountable and responsible for the timely completion of work order assignments and preventative maintenance.

Assists the Supervisor and or Director in the planning, coordination, and execution of all duties related to the hospital, and all other work as assigned.


Other information:


Required:
High School diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of experience. Thorough knowledge of plant systems and sub-systems. Boiler plant and machinery operating experience.

  • Must be able to climb ladders.

Minimum Experience:
four years


Desired:
Oe2, S1, or S2 license required.


Work Schedule:
Eve/Night 12


Work Shift:
Rotating 7 to 7


Credentials:


Essential:


  • Heating Piping and Cooling Operating Engineer Journey person
  • Heating Piping and Cooling Unlimited Contractor

Working conditions:


Essential:


  • Very Heavy effort. May exert up to 50 lbs. force
  • Significant manual skills / motor coord & finger dexterity
  • Significant occupational risk
  • Significant exposure to dirt, odor, noise, human waste, etc.
