Description
Invenia Group is collaborating with an innovative clinical-stage biotech company based in the US, currently in search of an Associate Director of Clinical Pharmacology to lead the clinical pharmacology team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the formulation of clinical pharmacology strategies across various drug development phases.
- Contribute to the design of clinical trial protocols, particularly focusing on clinical pharmacology elements.
- Review and prepare clinical pharmacology segments of IND application documents alongside pertinent reports.
- Analyze and interpret safety, efficacy, and pharmacokinetic data from a clinical pharmacology viewpoint.
- Deploy quantitative pharmacology tools for supporting PK/PD analysis and interpretation.
- Ensure adherence to NMPA/FDA/EMA regulations and guidelines in clinical pharmacology study design and implementation.
- Collaborate with diverse teams to offer clinical pharmacology expertise and aid in clinical trial planning.
- Respond professionally to clinical pharmacology inquiries from regulatory bodies like CDE.
- Manage and synchronize operations with external vendors, encompassing pre-clinical units and testing CROs.
Requirements:
- Hold a Master's or Ph.D. in Clinical Pharmacology or a related discipline.
- Possess a minimum of 8 years of clinical pharmacology experience within the pharmaceutical or biotech sector.
- Thorough knowledge of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, with expertise in drug development processes and regulatory engagements.
- Proficient in orchestrating and leading clinical pharmacology studies, including PK-centered designs for novel medications.
- Acquainted with quantitative pharmacology and bioanalysis methodologies.
- Outstanding communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities.
- Comprehensive understanding of NMPA/FDA/EMA regulations and directives pertaining to drug metabolism, pharmacokinetics, and clinical trial layout.
