Description

The Heritage Community offers residential treatment for teenagers aged 13-18, providing medical care through a dedicated Medical Center. We are currently looking for a part-time Medication Technician / MA to support our RN's with medication organization, vital checks, and other tasks. We need a detail-oriented individual who can efficiently handle responsibilities with maturity and enthusiasm.

Established in 1984, The Heritage Community is one of the oldest residential treatment programs in the US, operating as a non-profit organization with a strong mission. We offer competitive pay, training opportunities, and the chance to be part of a meaningful mission.

Schedule:

Tues, Thurs evenings, and weekend rotation

Knowledge and Abilities:

Excellent customer service and communication skills
Knowledge of healthcare standards like HIPAA and OSHA
Understanding of adolescent development
Strong clerical and organizational skills
Proficiency in computer and writing skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist with medication management and administration
Record vital signs and assist with assessments
Transport students to medical appointments
Perform lab tests and maintain cleanliness
Provide exceptional customer service
Respond to medical emergencies

Qualifications:

Medication Technician, MA, CNA, or EMT certification
Current BLS certification or willingness to obtain
Minimum age of 20
Fluency in English
