Amazon is looking for a Program Manager (PM), Inbound Supply Chain, to improve inventory placement and inbound supply chain performance.

The PM designs long-term strategies and capabilities to facilitate disruptive innovation, improve asset utilization, and drive portfolio of initiatives across multiple teams.

Supply Chain Innovation organization's core goal is centered on two key principles:
i) Innovation that positions the customer first.
ii) Solutions that spin the Amazon flywheel.

Our mission is to introduce simplicity, predictability, and economic efficiency to Amazon's multifaceted supply chain than spans the globe.

The Inbound Cross Dock (IXD) Team develops capabilities and business models that support Amazon's needs for cost-effective, scalable e-commerce solutions including storage, distribution, and customer fulfillment.

Key job responsibilities

Act as an evangelist for the adoption of new tools and processes for Inbound Supply Chain Regionalization Program.
Influence beyond direct authority and network to drive consensus and decisions with senior Amazon leaders, technical prioritization of key initiatives, and promoting the program and operational excellence
Be responsible for program expansion, financial reporting, new partnerships, technology enhancement, business Intelligence and new innovations
Use analytical and statistical rigor to solve complex problems and drive business decisions and own programmatic execution on both detailed and strategic levels
Manipulate/mine data from database tables (ex. Redshift, MySQL) using SQL.
