What You'll Do
Build front end applications using technologies and languages including but not limited to: TypeScript, JavaScript, React, micro frontends.

Build backend services to support the UI applications developed by this team and others using technologies and languages including but not limited to: , Fastify, Express, Java, Micronaut, Springboot, Python, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Postgresql, Kafka

Deploy the applications to Lowe's hosted data centers or the cloud using technologies and languages including but not limited to: Docker, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform

Support the applications using data using technologies and languages including but not limited to: Grafana, Kibana, PowerBI

Collaborate with business and product stakeholders, along with UI/UX partners and other engineering teams, to deliver well-architected and well documented software solutions.

A software engineer with experience using some of the front end

Demonstrated the ability to deliver quality, well-documented code

Able to lead software projects and mentor more junior engineers

Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to your team

Demonstrate software solutions to technical leaders and business/product stakeholders

Passionate about learning, innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement

Able to provide best practices for development, unit testing and acceptance testing

Experience with debugging, profiling and performance tuning for the technologies listed

Experience developing, documenting and consuming libraries shared across multiple development teams

Strong experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data and Spring Security

Experience in React JS and NodeJS

Experience working with DB like PostgreSQL, Mongo, Casandra etc.

Experience building REST and SOAP web services using Java

Experience with Web Services (JSON, REST, JAX-RS, Spring based REST services)

Experience with Java and J2EE/Java EE (including servlets, JSP, JSF, JDBC)

Strong understanding of Java concurrency, concurrency patterns, experience building thread safe codeNode Apps, HTML/JS/CSS, Java/JEE, SpringBoot, RDBMS and NoSQL DBs, Microservices, Google Cloud, CI/CD.

Secondary Skills (desired)
Experience with messaging products like RabbitMQ, Kafka or ActiveMQ

Experience in React JS and NodeJS

Experience working with DB like PostgreSQL, Mongo, Casandra etc.

Experience with development tools like Eclipse, Git, Gradle, Sonar, Jenkins, Jira, Artifactory etc

Experience with web application servers like Tomcat, Jetty, JBoss etc

Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns and industry best practices
