The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for providing a wide variety of administrative, liaison, coordination, and support services for the Human Resources department.

Primarily responsible for providing support to the Director of Human Resources. Interfaces with management, cross functional organizations, and internal/external customers. Undertakes various functional projects as required and provides standard office support.


Job Model:


On-SiteAll fully remote positions will require you to travel on site 2-4 times per month depending upon business needs at your own expense.

Hybrid positions will require employees to work both on-site and remote each week under a schedule that has been determined and agreed upon by you and your manager.

On-Site positions will require employees to work on-site for each of their scheduled shifts.


A typical day at work would include:


Performs a wide variety of administrative, liaison, coordination, and support services for the Human Resources department.- Assists department in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures for all company employees.


  • Maintenance of Employee Training database including but not limited to updating employee training records for training taken as well as training development required, reporting, upgrades, system training, etc.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate document control on the HR file database (Dropbox).
  • Prepare and maintain employee files, assuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality.
  • Coordinates employment related postings associated with federal and state requirements.
  • Maintenance and distribution of the company organization charts.
HR department coordinator for posting of Electronic Communications.- Coordinates materials required for training projects.

  • Perform support functions to Human Resources department as needed i.e., record keeping, mailings, answering telephones, referring messages, mail distribution, ordering of supplies and other related duties.

Experience you need coming into this job:

  • Associate degree or commensurate experience.
  • 13 years of Human Resources related experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Works under general direction; ability to work independently.
  • Interacts with both internal and external customers at all levels of the organization. Strong customer service skills required.


Strong computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR related databases and systems.- Strong data entry skills, attention to detail and accuracy.- Strong problem-solving skills.


  • Strong organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities. Must be able to work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong grammar skills; ability to proofread.
  • Ability to work as a team player.
  • Ability to manage confidential information.
  • Flexible, high energy individual desiring to participate in and learn about all aspects of HR.
