Plumbing Maintenance Technicians report to the Service Manager and play a pivotal role in delivering top-notch plumbing maintenance services to our valued clients.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Utilize a range of hand and power tools to inspect, repair, and perform maintenance on plumbing systems, including drains, pipes, fixtures, and water heaters.
  • Demonstrate Respect and Compassion when interacting with customers, ensuring they are informed and comfortable with the work performed.
  • Accurately document all service activities by completing necessary forms, reports, logs, and records.
  • Execute all tasks in strict adherence to Do It Right Plumbers' quality and safety standards.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments by participating in relevant training opportunities, both internal and external.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Present yourself as a professional representative of Do It Right Plumbers when dealing with customers, vendors, colleagues, and the public.
  • Perform effectively under pressure and maintain composure in various customer and office interactions.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, adept at working with diverse customer and office personality styles.
  • Capable of handling challenging customer situations and diagnostic issues.
  • Adaptability is key; you should thrive in changing work environments, manage competing demands, and handle unexpected events with grace.
  • Successfully pass a drug test and background check.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:


  • Most tasks for this position are carried out in various settings, including customer residences and outdoor locations.
  • Work involves residential properties, which may include attics, garages, crawl spaces, and roofs.
  • Physical effort is moderate and may encompass standing, squatting, and sitting for extended periods. You may encounter some physical risks like exposure to heat, sun, walking up ladders exceeding thirty feet, and exposure to environmental factors.
  • Willingness to work in outdoor weather conditions, including heat, cold, and temperature fluctuations, for extended periods.
  • Interruptions are common; deadlines can be inflexible; strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
  • You may stand for up to 8 hours a day, with up to 8 hours of walking.
  • Occasional heavy manual labor may be required, including lifting and carrying loads of up to 5075 pounds.
  • Regular tasks may involve grasping, gripping, reaching, bending, stooping, crouching, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and working overhead.
  • You might work in confined or tight spaces frequently.
