Description:


The Admission Representative is responsible for performing the duties of registering patients in a manner to promote positive relationships with patients, visitors, physicians and hospital departments.

The Representative ensures quality performance by gathering and entering accurate and complete information for billing and collection processes critical for reimbursement.

The Representative assists patients in understanding the forms to be signed, their patient rights, and informs patients of hospital policies and procedures.


Educational Requirments:

  • High School graduate

Experience Requirements:

  • Prefer previous employment in hospital/medical or insurance industry with 12 years experience.

Special Requirements:

  • Type 40 wpm
  • Experience with computer terminal or personal computer.
  • Knowledge of Medicare,Medicaid, and insurance regulations helpful.
  • Ability to provide service to customer in a professional and courteous manner.
