Position Overview
The Group Facilitator will facilitate two (2) groups in our Substance Use Intensive Outpatient Services individuals) by following the curriculum, which provides the group title, intervention, and additional worksheets and supplies.
The Group Facilitator works in a rotational group schedule to conduct treatment meetings with Case Managers to ensure the needs of Individuals are met.
Certification & Additional Experience requirements:
Must be Certified in Virginia as either:
Certified Substance Abuse Counselor-Supervisee (CSAC-S)
OR
Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC)
Must have knowledge and experience with the following:
- Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders
- Experience working with adult individuals with Mental Health Disorders
- Proficient Computer Skills
- Organization & Communication Skills
- First Aid & CPR preferred, not required
- TOVA preferred, not required
- One year of Group Facilitation Experience preferred
