- Prepare and maintain financial documents and reports, such as monthly financial statements and budget analysis
- Assist with monthend and yearend closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, including conducting periodic inventory audits
- Assist with payroll processing and related tax filings
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the auto industry
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Freeland Chevy Superstore, one of the leading automotive dealerships in Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounting Associate II.
This is a full-time, hourly position in our accounting and finance department, and the ideal candidate will have previous experience in accounting, specifically in the auto industry.
As an individual contributor, the Accounting Associate II will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.
Compensation & Benefits:
The Accounting Associate II position at Freeland Chevy Superstore offers a highly competitive hourly rate of $25 to $32 per hour, paid semimonthly.
In addition, employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for advancement within the company.
