The Make Ready Technician acts under the direction of the Make Ready Manager and/or Maintenance Manager and is responsible for the cleanliness of the community grounds.

Responsibilities will include the daily upkeep of the property, buildings, and grounds, which includes cleaning and removing trash.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:


  • Clean vacated apartments as directed completely and on schedule
  • Paint vacated apartments as directed completely and on schedule
  • Perform light maintenance related repairs in vacated apartments
  • Assist maintenance team in vacant units or with other light work orders/punch lists, including painting, moving appliances (Make Ready Technicians cannot take oncall)
  • Must follow all safety/OSHA Requirements
  • Regular attendance and punctuality

Additional Functions and Responsibilities:


  • Additional duties as assigned. This position is continually evolving based on needs of the community and additional duties will be required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • Basic understanding of landscaping and groundskeeping
  • Written & oral communication skills
  • Must demonstrate support of Bell Core Values
  • Must demonstrate ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • Must demonstrate ability to successfully work on a team
  • Must be able to clearly communicate both orally and in writing

Education and Background:


  • Must be a minimum 18 years of age
  • High School diploma or equivalent
