The Intake Coordinator ensures that all client records and data are maintained, safeguards are in place to secure protected healthcare information, and all required agreements and authorizations are in place to ensure our provision of services meets high quality care standards as well as professional, statutory, and contractual obligations.
Responsibilities:
- Initial point of contact for families inquiring about services. Educating prospective clients on ABA services offered by the organization.
- Communicating with clients throughout the admissions process on status, timelines and any additional information needed.
- Follow up with families inquiring about services, on waitlists for services, and to gauge satisfaction with services.
- Fosters positive relationships with families, team members, and key stakeholders.
- Collaborates effectively with partner organizations, other providers, and referral sources.
- Daily review and updating on CRM to ensure intake information and metrics for decisions is up to date and accurate.
- Completing new client onboarding checklist and coordinating status indicators across multiple platforms.
- Model traits of an effective team member including open and honest communication, execution of job responsibilities, follow through on assignments and supporting team members.
- Working with families to receive proper paperwork needed to start the intake process, including speaking with the family to ascertain possible schedules of availability, following up with the office of diagnosing physician/ physicians, if needed.
- Work with prospective, new, and existing clients to gather the correct insurance information needed to determine covered services/verification of benefits. Coordinating transfer of information to insurance team for verification.
- Primary point of contact with insurance verification team
- Collaborate with team to facilitate the referral and intake process with the goal of ensuring timely access to ABA therapy.
- Participates in weekly Team Meetings as needed for coordination of initiation of services.
- Completes all mandatory State, County, and Organization required trainings.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience
- Prior office experience preferred
- Understanding of the fundamentals of ABA
- Prior management experience preferred

$45, $50,000.00 per year
