Introduction:
9th Way Insignia will work with the Veterans Administration (VA) to support the governance pillar in creating, implementing, and providing support for the necessary requirements and outcomes of the ZTA assessments.
9th Way Insignia will provide iterative updates for pillar use cases while accounting for a risk based and dependency-based priority of capabilities.

The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer aligns within 9th Way Insignia as an Engineer 3. An Engineer 3 typically performs multiple engineering-related tasks in various assignments within the project and firm. An Engineer 3 oversees the design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems. An Engineer 3 has broad knowledge of engineering procedures and assists in the resolution of complex problems.
An Engineer 3 has strong technical skills and background, a knack for learning new technologies, and a blend of good problem-solving and innovation needed to resolve a wide variety of technical production challenges.
Functional Job (LCAT)Information:
A Senior Cybersecurity Engineer has extensive IT experience in all aspects of Cyber Security with a vast array of IT systems involving end user as well as enterprise level networks.
Responsibilities:
Mature Cyber ZTA capabilities to improve Vulnerability Threat Management capabilities.
Work with privacy data, in order to increase Cloud application and infrastructure vulnerability scanning and reporting.
Assist in developing architecture for integrating findings into a centralized dashboard that allows product owners direct access to team's specific systems or cloud account findings.

Provides system engineering and architectural design support services
Requirements:
10 Years Experience in Cyber Security
Masters of Science degree (or higher) in one of the following: computer science, electronics engineering, computer engineering, computer science, information technology, or cyber security.10 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
Preferred/Desired:
CISSP
GIAC Security Essentials Certification
RMF, CSF, FISMA, and Fedramp
Familiarity with:
ZTNA and SASE Framework, ICAM (OKTA), CWPP, SOC Operations, Vulnerability Threat Management, and Compliance
Location:
This position is remote
Salary Range:
The salary range for this position is $96,370 – $113,000
Travel:
Occasional travel to the VA offices may be required
Clearance, background investigation:
