Description
We are seeking a visionary and strategic individual to join our team as a Capital Markets leader. You will assume a pivotal role, spearheading initiatives related to underwriting and distributing debt and equity securities.

Collaborating closely with senior executives, you will play a key role in shaping and executing the EF Hutton strategy for the ever-evolving capital markets landscape.

This role is responsible for overseeing activities related to underwriting and distributing debt and equity securities. They work closely with other leaders to develop and implement the bank's overall strategy for the capital markets.

This role also develops and maintains relationships with issuers, investors, and other market participants, and ensures that the bank is in compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines related to capital markets activities.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


  • Manage and oversee the organization's capital markets activities, including underwriting, trading, and sales of securities
  • Ensure that the organization's capital markets activities are efficient, effective, and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Provide guidance and leadership to the capital markets team
  • Manage the capital markets budget and resources
  • Identify opportunities for growth and expansion in the capital markets, and develop plans to pursue these opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with investors, brokers, and other capital markets partners
  • Monitor and analyze capital markets metrics and performance data
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as SEC, FINRA, etc.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that capital markets activities are aligned with organizational goals
  • Work with other senior executives to develop the bank's overall strategy for the capital markets
  • Manage a team of bankers, providing guidance and support to help them meet their individual and team goals

REQUIRED AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree required


Required Licensure:


  • Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE)
  • General Securities Representative Exam (Series 7)
  • General Securities Principal Exam (Series 24)
  • Uniform Securities Agent State Law Exam (Series 63)
  • Investment Banking Representative Exam (Series 79)

Required Experience, Skills and/or Knowledge:


  • Minimum 5 years of investment banking experience
  • Experience with originating and executing IPOs, follow on and shelf offerings and PIPEs a plus
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Professional maturity and experience to interact with other senior bankers
  • Excellent technology skills with superior Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Demonstrates strategic and creative thinking and distinguished communication skills
  • Ability to manage several projects at once and work effectively as an individual and as part of a team
  • Strict attention to detail with demonstrated ability to take initiative
  • Strong interest and understanding of financial markets, aptitude to learn, and demonstrated history of strong academic performance and professional drive
  • Strong public speaking skills and comfortable with leading large group conference calls

PAY RANGE:
$100K-$300K annually


WORKPLACE LOCATION

  • Our team operates out of our beautiful offices on Madison Avenue in New York City. This role requires daily presence in the office as well as at client offices for meetings, events, etc.

SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS

  • Requires some flexibility in scheduling, such as the ability to work evenings and weekends to meet client deliverables.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Requires ability to travel locally by car/public transportation, as well as regular domestic trips involving air travel for multinight stays, and occasional international trips.

$100, $300,000.00 per year
