    Description

    Position: Delivery Lead (Java & Telecommunications Background)

    Location: Remote (Local candidates from NJ preferred for occasional meetings)

    Note: This role focuses on technical delivery leadership, not project management or technical leadership

    • Overview: Seeking a skilled professional to join as a Digital Web & Mobile Delivery Lead. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership qualities, deep digital technology understanding, and mobile architecture expertise. Responsible for successful project delivery aligning with business goals and tech strategies.

    Responsibilities:

    Project Leadership:

    • Oversee delivery of web and mobile projects from start to finish.
    • Create project plans, timelines, and resource strategies.
    • Collaborate with teams to define project scope and goals.

    Team Management:

    • Supervise and mentor developers, designers, and project managers.
    • Encourage a collaborative, high-performance work environment.
    • Conduct performance reviews and offer constructive feedback.

    Stakeholder Communication:

    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior management, for project updates and issue resolution.
    • Manage expectations and ensure project quality.

    Quality Assurance and Optimization:

    • Implement QA processes for web and mobile app functionality, performance, and security.
    • Find optimization opportunities for existing digital platforms.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
    • 14-20 years experience as a Delivery Lead in Java and Front-End projects with Telecommunications focus.
    • 5-10 years of recent telecommunication project experience.
    • Strong knowledge of web tech, front/back-end dev, and responsive design.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Adaptability to new technologies and industry trends.
