MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

Boardwalk is a well-established commercial real estate investment company with a focus on prime locations along the coast of California. As a Maintenance Engineer with us, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring our properties are always in top condition for our tenants.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs
Perform various maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, and mechanical system upkeep
Address repair needs promptly and efficiently
Troubleshoot and fix maintenance issues reported by residents and management
Expertly handle painting tasks to maintain a high-quality standard
Prepare units for new tenants with necessary repairs and touch-ups
Manage maintenance supplies and respond to emergency requests
Ensure safety regulations are met at all times
Assist with landscaping and groundskeeping duties
Additional tasks as required

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in residential settings
Proficient in painting techniques for both interior and exterior projects
Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to work flexible hours when needed
Physical stamina for manual labor and heavy lifting
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
High school diploma or equivalent
