    Title: Audit Associate (Staff Auditor)

    Location: Remote

    Type: Contract/Contract to hire (Candidate must be able to work as a W2 employee for any employer in the US. This role is not open to Corp to Corp or sponsorship)

    Duration: Through Dec Potential to be extended and converted)

    Industry: Consulting (Banking/Financial Services)

    Pay: $30 - $42.50/hr

    Note: This role is eligible for medical, dental, vision and 401K benefits.

    Job Responsibilities.

    The Associate will perform Internal Audit test work to assess the Global Compliance and Operational Risk and broader Risk Framework including conducting process walkthroughs with second line business partners, assessing the risks and controls for test program development, selecting samples and executing substantive and process design assessment testing, completing workpaper documentation.

    To Perform This Role Understanding of the risk management / second lined of defense function with a primary focus on compliance and operational risk or broader Risk Framework, and the emerging risks associated. Capability to execute internal audit readiness assessment work.

    Requirements:

    1. A minimum of 1yrs Internal Audit (IA) experience in a global banking environment or a minimum of 1yrs Internal Audit (IA) experience for a consulting firm supporting a global banking client.

    2. Experience reviewing, analyzing, assessing, testing and validating remediation plans.

    3. Good communication skills and experience presenting to mid-level and Sr. Leaders.

    4. Previous consulting experience is a huge plus but not required.

    5. Relevant audit experience with large enterprise banks and/or management consulting firms supporting enterprise banks is highly desired
