Engineer (m/f/d) FPGA for hardware product development

Location: Paderborn

Our hardware product family is used for the realization of sophisticated control and simulation systems in various application scenarios. To further expand our hardware development department, we are looking for a development engineer (m/f/d) who will support us in the further development of central FPGA components and oversee them from conception to delivery.

Your tasks

  • Participation in the architecture design, conception, and specification of FPGA-based systems
  • Implementation and verification of FPGA functionality using VHDL and TCL
  • Commissioning of hardware products
  • Creation of test frameworks in C/C++ for product verification

Your profile

  • Completed degree in electrical engineering/electronics/computer science or comparable qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge of FPGA technology and at least one FPGA tool (Xilinx or Altera)
  • Experience in digital circuit technology
  • Good experience in verification with ModelSim desirable
