    //mechanical-Summary of Job Duties:The AM3 Lab at the University of Arkansas is looking for a Research Scientist to conduct research on developing robotic 3D printing technologies. The candidate is expected to develop the software and the hardware of the printing system, prepare reports and documentation to communicate progress, prepare journal and conference papers.


    Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.



    Qualifications:

    Minimum

    Qualifications:


    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field from an accredited institution of higher education
    • At least four years of experience in one or more of the following areas: software development, robotics, 3D printing
    • Experience in writing and oral presentation
    • Experience in project planning, project management, and documentation
    Preferred

    Qualifications:


    • Experience in software engineering or usage of industrial robotic arms

    Additional Information:

    Salary Information:
    Commensurate with Education and Experience (Range: $67,000-$76,000)
