Job Summary:


We are seeking three dedicated Daycare Assistant Teachers to join our team in our Two and Three Year Old Classrooms (two assistants in our Twos Room, one assistant in our Threes Room).

All three postions will have a schedule of 10:00am-6:00pm with a one hour unpaid break.

As a Daycare Assistant Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a nurturing and educational environment for children in our care.

Your role will involve implementing age-appropriate activities, promoting social and emotional development, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all children.


Duties:


  • Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members
  • Provide individualized attention to meet the needs of each child
  • Monitor and supervise children during indoor and outdoor playtime
  • Assist with mealtime routines, including feeding and promoting healthy eating habits
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the daycare facility
  • Collaborate with other teachers to ensure consistent care and education for all children

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education preferred
  • Previous experience working with children in a daycare, classroom, or similar setting
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Familiarity with special education needs is a plus
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred
