- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and implement ageappropriate activities and educational programs
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Monitor and address behavioral issues using positive reinforcement techniques
- Collaborate with parents to ensure the wellbeing and development of each child
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare space
Requirements:
- Previous experience in babysitting or childcare
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Experience working with students of various ages and abilities
- Strong classroom management skills
- Understanding of childhood development stages and milestones
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors effectively
- Knowledge of special education strategies is a plus
- First aid and CPR certification preferred
- Genuine passion for caregiving and educating children
