Wonderful family in Cromwell seeking reliable care for their 5, 4, and 7 month old (3 kids)

• Must have at least 2 years experience, CPR/First Aid Certified, have a clean driver record, and be willing to pass a background check.

Wed/Thurs/Fri: 8:30am-3:30pm (20 hours a week)

$25/hr DOE

As a member of our team, you will provide a vital role in providing exceptional childcare and creating a nurturing environment for the families you work with.

Your responsibilities:

• Childcare and Development: Ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and development.
• Daily Routine and following household management: Light housekeeping duties such as help with meal prep for children, tidying up after children, doing children's laundry, keeping rooms organized, pick ups and drop offs if needed, etc.
• Communication and Collaboration: Maintaining open and effective communication with parents, keeping them informed about children's daily activities, progress, and any concerns.
• Safety: Ensuring the safety of the children at all times.
• Professionalism and Reliability: Arriving punctually and prepared for shift, maintaining confidentiality, and respecting the privacy and boundaries of the family.
• Building relationships: Acting as a role model and providing guidance and support to the children as they grow. Creating positive and meaningful relationships with children and families.

Criteria:

• A US citizen or legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• At least 2 years of professional experience (nonfamily members) Preferably Early Edu Degree/Montessori background
• 3 work and character references
• Must be able to speak and write English
• CPR and First Aid Qualified
• Have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation and car insurance
• An up to date resume
• Consent to and pass a background check
• Willingness to make a commitment of a minimum of 1 year to the role they are offered (permanent placements only)
• Genuine passion for childcare, as well as professionalism and responsiveness
