Job Requirements

Apassion for helping seniors
A desire to contribute to a positive atmosphere in the community for residents, family & friends, and all team members
Ability to communicate effectively in English; both oral and written
Ability to work every other weekend
Ability to work effectively as a team

Job Responsibilities

Developing relationships with residents andtheir families and supporting the physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinicalneeds of the residents
Communicate needs to and assist resident'sdoctors with medical assessments
Supervise and motivate Caregivers and Medtechs
Ability to maintain accurate and legiblerecords such as nurses' notes, incident reports, 24-hour reports and medicationrecords

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved LicensedPractical/Vocational Nursing Program
Current licensure by the State Board of NurseExaminers
Geriatric experience preferred but notmandatory
Experience with electronic medical recordspreferred but not required
Experience with dementia care preferred but not required
