Job Description:
Ohlinger Industries is a leader in component repair for the commercial and military aviation industries. The company is well established and has been operating in the Phoenix area for over 50 years.
- Major Responsibilities and Duties
- Oversees the recruitment and hiring process.
- Administers employee onboarding and offboarding.
- Manages employee benefits program (medical, dental, 401k, insurances).
- Supports management in performance processes including disciplinary and grievance issues.
- Manages all HR policies and company guidelines.
- Provides communication between the organization and employees including providing counseling on benefits, policies, and procedures.
- Implements all legal compliance and reporting for Human Resources federal, state, and local requirements.
- Manages the Valley Metro Trip Reduction Program.
- Assists with the drug and alcohol program.
- Assists with payroll.
- Maintains employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or extensive prior experience in human resources.
- General knowledge of employment laws and best practices.
- Professional manner and possess strong written and communication skills.
- Able to work in a team environment with a willingness to cross train.
- A selfstarter and organized with the ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent computer skills including knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and demonstrated skills in ERP systems and recordkeeping. Knowledge of Employee Navigator and ADP is a plus
Schedule:
- 10hour shift Monday Thursday
