HOW YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO/CTO), the Cloud DevSecOps Engineer is responsible for maintaining, securing, and optimizing ETR's AWS-based infrastructure primarily using Terraform and managed infrastructure as code (IaC).

Following industry best practices and working in a highly collaborative setting, the Senior Cloud DevSecOps Engineer designs, implements, deploys, and monitors infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and applications.

The Senior Cloud DevSecOps Engineer brings a security-first mindset.

This is a remote position and can work from anywhere within the United States.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
5+ years of production-level experience with AWS.
3+ years of experience writing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
Expertise in one or more of the following: ECS, EC2, RDS, EFS, S3, GuardDuty, IAM, VPC, VPN.
Experience with Terraform Cloud (Hashicorp Certified Cloud Engineer preferred).
Experience with CloudFormation (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer preferred).
Experience with IaC and infrastructure testing strategies.
Strong understanding of and experience with Docker and maintaining Docker images
Experience with fully automating CI/CD pipelines end-to-end, from code commits to production.
A strong background in software engineering.
Hands-on programming expertise in one or more of the following: Python, Bash, Go JSON, YAML, HCL
Proficiency with code repository management (Git knowledge required).
Experience achieving compliance and going through audits (SOC2, HIPAA, vendor, etc.)

ADDITIONAL SPECIFICATIONS:
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient with MS Office, Outlook, and supporting applications, including Word, Excel, and Teams.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to meet short deadlines, and willingness to work additional hours during deadline periods.
Ability to travel as assigned.

The use of a personal vehicle or rental car for ETR business will require a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.

at 100% FTE. The starting salary is determined based on the candidate's knowledge, skills, and experience.
