    Senior Cloud DevSecOps Engineer (Remote - United States)

    HOW YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE

    Joining our team as a Senior Cloud DevSecOps Engineer, you'll play a key role in maintaining, securing, and optimizing ETR's AWS-based infrastructure using Terraform and managed infrastructure as code (IaC). This position involves designing, implementing, deploying, and monitoring infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and web-based applications with a security-first mindset. You'll work remotely from anywhere within the United States.

    WHAT WE NEED YOU TO BRING

    Deep experience in:

    • Collaborating on complex cloud infrastructure projects.
    • Leading the strategy and implementation of common infrastructure and pipeline models.
    • Working with diverse teams towards common principles.
    • Using industry-standard tooling proficiently.
    • Balancing innovation with reliability and compliance.

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

    • 5+ years of hands-on AWS experience (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or similar certification preferred).
    • 3+ years of Terraform experience in writing Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
    • Proficiency in ECS, EC2, RDS, EFS, S3, CloudFormation, GuardDuty, IAM, VPC, VPN, and Control Tower.
    • Experience with Terraform Cloud (HashiCorp Certified Cloud Engineer preferred).
    • Expertise in IaC and infrastructure testing strategies.
    • Strong knowledge of Docker and Docker image maintenance.
    • Automation experience in end-to-end CI/CD pipelines.
    • Track record in achieving compliance and undergoing audits.
    • Software engineering background.
    • Proficient in programming languages like Python, Bash, Go, JSON, YAML, and HCL.
    • Experience in code repository management (Git).

    • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Teams.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
    • Willingness to meet deadlines and work flexible hours when needed.
    • Capacity for assigned travel.
    • Requirement for a valid driver's license and insurance for business travels.

    • Additional familiarity with Azure is beneficial.

    Location: Remote – United States.

    Starting Pay Range: $136,400-$166,700 annually. The typical hiring range for this position is $136,400 to $151,500 at 100% FTE. The starting salary is determined based on the candidate's knowledge, skills, and experience.
